ACTIVITIES & ACHIEVEMENTS

Since its foundation in 1991 ITTA has

	created both an international core curriculum and examination regulations and - with the ITTA-diploma - an international diploma
	promoted exchange of students and lecturers
	adopted the common European educational currency ECTS (European Credit Transfer System)
	made possible the participation in SOCRATES- and LEONARDO-programmes


		contributed to the improvement of mobility and flexibility of the students
		intensified foreign language training and improved intercultural understanding
		introduced foreign language exams of the chambers of commerce of London, Madrid and Paris as well as the IATA-Standard-Exam of the International Air Transport Association into the educational programme
		taken up co-operation with other educational institutions of tourism, ie schools, colleges, universities, associations and firms
		provided guidance on qualification enhancement qualifications at educational fairs, internal and external information days and in personal counselling
