ITTA has members and connections in most European countries and promotes close relationships with national
and international agencies to facilitate inter-institutional activities as well as European and international student exchanges.
ITTA undertakes to guide people to a degree of capability that enables them to analyse situations, solve problems, set targets
and initiate actions as well as to achieve a degree of self-development that will enhance their career prospects.
The aim of ITTA is the creation of an International Tourism Academy Network with the following global and pedagogic objectives:
Integration of all strategies and measures of the schools united in the academy network
co-operation in the development and realisation of the common aim to promote higher international study programmes
for travel and tourism
high quality teaching units for life-long learning of qualified staff in tourism
to establish centres of study
to develop and administer recognised European travel and tourism management qualifications
under the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS)
